When everyone else stepped back, everything in Jesus compelled him to step forward. He was attracted to brokenness so that he could enter in and heal and restore. If we are to look like him doesn’t that mean that we have to also enter into brokenness?

How did the first church reflect the characteristics of God in a way that made them stand out to a world. For the next several weeks are going to look at what it looks like to be Church before shifting into how we have uniquely applied those principles at Southwest. We'll explore 4 overarching characteristics of the church, of those early Christians. 1. A commitment to the apostles teachings 2. A Commitment to loving God and through loving broken people. 3.
