November 17 Service - All Things New

We’ll finish Revelation 20 this week as we take a look at the lake of fire. Last week showed us the final consequence of the dragon, and this week continues that theme by looking at the final consequence of the dragon’s followers. This topic is something Jesus preached on, and something we need to remember in our discipleship efforts, even though our world today refuses to believe in it. In Revelation 16, we’ll be taking a look at the final 7 judgments from God in Revelation. Often when we think of judgment, we think there’s no way to recover from it, but even in God’s just judgment we see that there’s still the hope of reconciliation if repentance is sought. September 22 Service - The Song of the Lamb

This week we are studying Revelation 15 which sets the stage for the wrath poured out in the following chapters. What may be the most striking thing about this section is how the people of God respond to His promised judgement by singing the song of Moses and the Lamb. Join us this Sunday as we look at what the song of the Lamb is and how it serves as model for us to respond to a holy God.

September 15 Service - A Time to Reap

In Revelation 14:14-20 we’ll continue the theme of judgment from last week with a picture of a harvest. Generally, harvests are good! They mean your crop was successful and you have enough food to last another season. But this harvest has something unique in it that doesn’t sound quite as good. September 1 Service - The Phantom Menace

We’re back in Revelation 13 this week (if you need to catch up, I did 2 overview sermons in the Spring that you can watch before Sunday: Part 1, Part 2). The good news is that Jesus still wins, the bad news is there’s suffering and difficulty before Jesus ultimately wins. This week we’ll see the completion of the unholy trinity as Satan attempts to mimic God’s plans for the world but continually falls short every time. June 2 Service - The Force Awakens

June 2, 2024 • Mike Strand • Revelation 12

This is our last week in Revelation before we start our Psalms for the Summer, so put your journal Bibles in a place you’ll remember when we go back to Revelation this Fall! This week, we’ll be studying Revelation 12 where we’ll see a dragon, a woman, and stars, oh my! We’ll see the way God’s people are continually protected and preserved by God, and the charge for us to continue being faithful in our witnessing.

May 19 Service - Forty-Two

This week, we see the first part of John’s prophesy, picking up where we left off last week as we look at Revelation 11:1-4. These verses will show us the need to know and understand the Old Testament, as well as the way John helps us understand God’s bigger plan in all of history. This is one of the most difficult passages in this book (which happens to be one of the most difficult in the whole Bible!), so join us Sunday as we see God’s Word for us about His people today!
