This sermon is about recognizing growth, learning, and the breaking of barriers. We take a dive into Acts 10. This chapter shows us how God breaks down barriers and brings people together. 

We start with a powerful moment in history. In 1987, almost 37 years ago, President Ronald Reagan stood before the Berlin Wall and boldly declared, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” That wall was a symbol of division, separating families, friends, and entire nations. Reagan’s call was for unity, freedom, and breaking down barriers. 

Just like the Berlin Wall, there are barriers in our lives that divide us– barriers of culture, race, and beliefs. But there are also more personal walls we build, such as those surrounding our mental health.

The takeaway is that God’s love breaks down all barriers, uniting us in His grace and purpose.
