E.C.H.O. Holy

Living reflections of God’s character

October 6, 2024 • Miguel Candelario • 1 Peter 1:16, Isaiah 6:3, Revelation 4:8, Isaiah 40:26, Isaiah 55:8–9

Opening with the imagery of an echo, Miguel explains that just as an echo carries the essence of the original sound, God's holiness resonates throughout creation, inviting us to reflect His character in every aspect of our lives. Drawing from Isaiah 6:3 and Revelation 4:8, we see the angels eternally declaring "Holy, holy, holy," a reminder of the unchanging and exalted nature of God.

Through the acronym E.C.H.O., we dive into four key aspects of God's holiness:

Exalted – God is high above all things, yet intimately knows each of us.

Consecrated – We are called to live set apart, reflecting His purity.

Holy Ground – Experiencing God's presence transforms any space into a sacred place.

Otherness – God is completely different from creation, yet invites us near through Jesus.

This message challenges us to live out God's holiness daily, impacting our thoughts, relationships, and priorities. As we grasp His holiness, we’re invited to echo it in our lives, becoming reflections of His light in a world in need.
