Resurrected Living - Apocalypse- Made Known in the Breaking (Luke 24)

Their Eyes Were Opened & They Recognized Him

May 16, 2021 • Amy McLaughlin-Sheasby

Amy McLaughlin-Sheasby has a B.A. in Ministry and Theology from Lipscomb University, and an M.Div. from Abilene Christian University. Upon completing her M.Div., Amy began teaching full-time for the Department of Bible, Missions, and Ministry at ACU, and has taught courses in biblical literature, practical theology, and preaching. In 2017, Amy and her husband, Nate, moved to Boston, where she began working on her Ph.D. at Boston University School of Theology. When the pandemic struck, they moved back home to Atlanta where Amy has been writing her dissertation remotely. She continues to teach courses for ACU, and has taught for Boston University as well. Amy is passionate about theological education, but moreover, Amy is passionate about God’s presence in the world. She is hopeful about the church’s witness, and believes that the people of God are vital for healing and restoration in the world. When she is not teaching, writing, or preaching, Amy loves to spend time with her family. Amy and Nate especially love to go for hikes with their beloved Australian Shepherd, Enzo.”
