What’s one thing that makes you “anxious for tomorrow” (one thing about your future that concerns you)?

Bible Verses:

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substantiation of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Matthew 6:25-27 Because of this, I say to you, Do not be anxious for your life, what you should eat or what you should drink; nor for your body, what you should put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body than clothing? Look at the birds of heaven. They do not sow nor reap nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father nourishes them. Are you not of more value than they? Who among you by being anxious can add one cubit to his stature?

Matthew 6:33-34 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself; sufficient for the day is its own evil.

Hebrews 3:7-8 Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, "Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the provocation, in the day of trial in the wilderness.”

Hebrews 13:5 Let your way of life be without the love of money, being satisfied with the things which are at hand; for He Himself has said, "I shall by no means give you up, neither by any means shall I abandon you."

2 Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes, even forever.

Running the Race by Looking Away Unto Jesus

Bible Verses: Hebrews 12:1 - Therefore let us also, having so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, put away every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles [us] and run with endurance the race which is set before us Hebrews 12:2 - Looking away unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down on the right hand of the throne of God. Philippians 3:7 - But what things were gains to me, these I have counted as loss on account of Christ. Philippians 3:8 - But moreover I also count all things to be loss on account of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count [them] as [garbage] that I may gain Christ 2 Timothy 2:22 - Flee youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Colossians 1:23 If indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast and not being moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I Paul became a minister. _____________ — God’s promises, His redemption, His works, and His free gifts (2 Pet. 1:4; Rom. 11:29). Faith — the way man believes in God, trusts in His work and redemption, and claims His promises (Heb. 11:6; Prov. 3:5-6) _____________ — the proper living of the believers, which they secure through believing in God (Gal. 2:20) Verses: 1 John 4:8 He who does not love has not known God, because God is love. 2 Corinthians 12:9 And He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather boast in my weaknesses that the power of Christ might tabernacle over me. Hebrews 7:25 Hence also He is able to save to the uttermost those who come forward to God through Him, since He lives always to intercede for them. Colossians 1:27 To whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory, Romans 8:16-17 The Spirit Himself witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God. And if children, heirs also; on the one hand, heirs of God; on the other, joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him that we may also be glorified with Him.

Ephesians 3:17-19 That Christ may make His home in your hearts through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be full of strength to apprehend with all the saints what the breadth and length and height and depth are and to know the knowledge-surpassing love of Christ, that you may be filled unto all the fullness of God. Ephesians 6:16 Besides all these, having taken up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. Hebrews 11:33-34 Who through faith overcame kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong in weakness, became mighty in war, routed the armies of foreigners.
