Song of Songs

May 27, 2021 • Nathan Crow

After "vanity of vanities" from Ecclesiastes, we have the Song of Songs, which is a figurative romance between God and man. Sometimes in our Christian life we might encounter many problems such as introspection and seclusion, down and dormant, and even languishing. In S.S chapter 2, the Beloved is standing behind the wall calling the loved one out. The way we can be delivered from our problems is actually to hear the Lord's calling, and "come away". This is corresponds to Heb. 12:2, "looking away unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith...". It is by looking away unto Jesus, we come away from all the difficult situations and follow after the Lord.
