(Isaiah 9:6; John 10) – December 4: About 700 years before Jesus arrived, God spoke through a prophet named Isaiah concerning a gift on the way – namely, a Son given to us. Though Isaiah called him a child, he named him Wonderful Counselor. In a world where many voices are pulling us in many directions, we must recognize the good, right, and true voice of the Counselor who has our good at the center of his heart.
