The trials we face in life presents us with a choice. Either we can pursue ultimate joy and satisfaction in God, or we can choose blame shifting and sinful desires which ultimately lead to death. In James 1:1-18 we see that in the midst of trials God is good and desires to use them in our lives to produce steadfastness and maturity.
