In the sermon titled Loving God and My Neighbor, Pastor Matthew Mletzko unpacks the profound call to love God and others as expressed in Matthew 22:37-39. He challenges us to live out the greatest commandment by loving God with all our heart, soul, and mind, while extending that love to our neighbors. Pastor Mletzko highlights Romans 5:8, showing God's love in action as Christ died for us even while we were sinners. He connects this to Deuteronomy 7:9, emphasizing God's steadfast faithfulness to those who love Him and keep His commandments. With John 14:21, he points out that true love for God is demonstrated through obedience to His Word. Finally, drawing from Romans 8:37-39, Pastor Mletzko assures us that nothing can separate us from God’s love, encouraging us to confidently live out our love for God and neighbor in every aspect of life.

In this sermon, we begin our exploration of the vision behind Solid Rock Church (SRC) being a family church. We're united not by bloodlines, but by faith in God. Available to Serve
August 25, 2024 • Matthew Mletzko • Joshua 24:14, 1 Peter 4:10, Mark 10:45, Colossians 3:23–24
This week, we focus on the “A” in FAMILY: Available to Serve. We will examine what it means to be truly available to serve, using Joshua 24:14 as our foundational scripture. Joshua, in his final days, urged the Israelites to serve the Lord with sincerity and faithfulness, warning them not to follow other gods. Today, we face the same challenge: Will we serve God and others, or be consumed by self-serving tendencies? Jesus Himself set the ultimate example of service, calling us to follow in His footsteps.
