Many Christians today are living as though Jesus hasn’t said certain things (e.g., that He is coming soon, or that we are to make disciples of every nation and preach the gospel to every creature). The time is short, the harvest is great, and yet many Christians are still just living for themselves, ignoring the call of God on our lives to reach the lost. 3 | The Power of the Gospel

These are not the days to be timid about our faith or to be ashamed of God’s Word. We have the life-saving knowledge of Jesus Christ that the lost and dying world desperately needs to hear, for the gospel alone is the power of God for salvation to those who believe, and we cannot be afraid to proclaim it! 4 | The Power of the Holy Spirit

Jesus didn’t expect His early disciples to carry out this commission without the Holy Spirit, and He doesn’t expect us to either. When you receive the Holy Spirit you receive the power to testify of the Lord Jesus Christ wherever you go.
