We are all becoming something. So often, it takes coming to the end of ourselves to realize we need to be made new; not simply patched up, but made to become a new creation. This is the reality Paul writes about in 2 Corinthians 5: "if anyone one is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Becoming Last

Becoming more like Jesus. Today we were challenged to become last. Jesus said, "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." May we grow in life, joy, peace, and purpose as we serve like Jesus. Becoming Generous

May we take a step to work a "first" into our daily rhythms: first part of our day, first day of the week, first moment before a meal, first offering of gifting, first fruits of our income.
