Many missionaries have a country they so badly want to get in to share the love of Jesus, but they can’t even get in the country because the window of opportunity is not just closed, but locked. Countries like North Korea, The Maldives, and Southern Sudan are just a few of the countries where the window of opportunity to share the name of Jesus is locked. These countries have windows that are so locked they won’t even let a missionary get in. So, how can they ever get in? To be honest, they need a miracle. The missionaries to these countries need Jesus to come unlock the window so that they can have the opportunity to share his name. Jesus can unlock these windows of opportunity!

Open The Window

There are countries all over the world where the window of opportunity is closed, and they haven’t had the opportunity to hear the name of Jesus. In these countries, some people have tried to open the window, but so far - the window remains closed.
There are a lot of different reasons why. But, no matter the reason, there are people in those countries that need the opportunity to hear the name of Jesus.
So, what do we do? How do we open the window of opportunity so others can hear about the love of Jesus? There are several things we can do to open the window of opportunity.
Even as kids - we have the chance to be a part of opening the window of opportunity in some of these closed countries. In this lesson, the children will learn that each of them can PRAY, GIVE, and ultimately GO.
Windows of Opportunity

In this lesson we are talking about windows. More specifically, taking advantage of “windows of opportunity” to spread the gospel throughout the world.
There are a lot of countries around the world, and every country is either open or closed to hearing the Gospel of Jesus. We need to be looking for every window of opportunity to partner with missionaries and make a huge difference in the lives of people around the world.
In this lesson, the children will learn from the story of Missionary David Livingstone that God can open ANY window - even if it seems impossible! God has called us to look for windows of opportunity and proclaim the love of God to the world!
