Pastor Dr. Chew Weng Chee is the Senior Pastor of Sidang Injil Borneo (SIBKL), a rapidly growing English congregation of over 3500 strong in Kuala Lumpur. He was a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist before he gave up his medical career to serve the Lord full time in 1999.. Formerly a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Theology from Regent College Bible School, Vancouver, Canada. He was the President of Sidang Injil Borneo (West Malaysia), overseeing 31 Bahasa Malaysia SIB Churches in West Malaysia until 2007. Pastor Dr. Chew has ministered extensively in Conferences and Church Camps both locally and overseas and he has written a book entitled, “Is Life Worth Living?” a study on the Book of Ecclesiastes. He is married to Pastor Dr. Lew Lee Choo who is the Deputy Senior Pastor of SIBKL and both of them has 2 sons, Jonathan & Christopher.
