We want to invite all St John’s families to our inaugural Unplugged Families Summer Camp at the beautiful Golden Gate Canyon State Park, just 45 minutes’ drive from Denver. Unplugged Families Summer Camp is a time to unwind, play, laugh and build memories with your family and friends - without the distraction of screens and devices. Golden Gate Canyon State Park covers over 12,000 acres of dense forest, rocky peaks, and aspen-rimmed meadows, and available activities include hiking, fishing, mountain-biking, and campfires. Pets are welcome, so bring Fido with you! Date: Sunday afternoon, July 28 to Tuesday morning, July 30, 2024 Location: Rifleman Phillips Campground, Golden Gate Canyon State Park. There are 15 tent sites available per night. Equipment: Families will need to bring camping gear, food/drinks and activity gear. We can share items and tasks as we need to, closer to the date. Cost: $35 per campsite per night. $10 entrance fee per vehicle is payable directly to the park upon arrival, unless you have a valid Colorado State Parks Pass. Register here by Sunday, July 21, 2024.
