The History of the Bible 1-15

Starting January 15th, Rev. Ron Hoyum will teach the Adult Sunday Morning class while Pastor Bill is working with Jr. and Sr. High youth while PJ is on sabbatical. The class is called "The History of the Bible.” We will explore the history of the Bible itself (who wrote the books of the Bible, when they were written, their composition and textual history), then we will look at the history in the Bible (when the events in the Bible took place), and then the history around the Bible (what was happening in the world during the time of biblical history.
Pastor Ron is recently retired from Port Madison Lutheran on Bainbridge Island and researched this class during his last sabbatical. Pastor Ron is a gifted theologian and scholar and you won’t want to miss this great teaching! We are very blessed to have him!
