We finish our work on the Word of God and unpack how God speaks in two words: Law & Gospel. Distinguishing between law and Gospel is key to understanding and reading the Bible. We then start our conversation about Luther and the Lutheran Reformation.

We touch bases and review the first session on the "Gospel" adding a little more about the significance of the Christ event. We then move to our understanding of both what the Word of God is and what it does. The Word is first Jesus, then a proclamation of the message about him, and then also the written word of God, the Holy Bible. We tackle important questions and modern challenges to our scriptures and their dependability.

We get to know each other and after some introductory content we focus in on what the Gospel actually is: the event of Jesus told with its significance. We unpack both the "event" and the different ways the NT says is the result/significance of the incarnation.
