A Wise Conviction

June 12, 2022 • Proverbs 1:8–19

Every last one of us has convictions that we live by. They help us stay the course as we experience what life throws our way. They carry us when we are challenged to give in or quit. In our passage today, we see a father challenging his son to live by biblical conviction, a conviction that will save his life and establish him as a man of biblical wisdom. Let’s dive in to see what God has for us.

It’s God’s World, and We’re Just Living in It

June 5, 2022 • Pastor Rodney Julian • Proverbs 1:1–7

Wisdom is a virtue that many people try to grab hold of. We ascribe to philosophy, intellectualism, science, and religion to unlock the mystery of living a wisdom filled life. Solomon who was credited to be one of the wisest people to ever live shows us in his opening portions of the book that the Fear of The Lord is what gives us access to wisdom and knowledge. As we begin our summer series through the book of Proverbs, we'll see that you're not just reading a book of good advice but God's way of life for you!
