Mary's Christmas Song

December 18, 2022 • Pastor Brett Capaci • Luke 1:35–37

This Christmas season at The Hills, we’re studying “Christmas songs” in Scripture that were sung at Jesus’ birth. This week, in the gospel of Luke chapter 1, we’re going to look at Mary’s Christmas song. When the Angel Gabriel gave Mary the shocking news that she would (being a virgin) have a baby, she responded with fear—yet also with humility and obedience.

Zechariah's Christmas Song

December 11, 2022 • Pastor Brett Capaci • Luke 1:67–79

Long before Christmas trees, decorations, and holiday meals, from the very beginning, the singing of Christmas songs was an important part of celebrating Jesus’ coming to earth. At the very first Christmas, the key participants (Mary, the angels, Zechariah, Simeon) all sang significant songs that commemorated Christ’s birth. This week’s sermon will examine the life of the father of John the Baptist—a man named Zechariah, and the song he sang at Christmas.

December 4, 2022 • Pastor Nathan Naoumi • Matthew 1:18–25

Let’s investigate this idea more clearly.
