Pastor Rodney concludes our series, SAME with a message on God’s plan for our lives. While life doesn’t always go according to our plans, how many know that God’s plans are better than ours? Sometimes His plan is for us to be patient and wait, sometimes it’s for us to place our hope in Him as we trust Him, and more often than not, He always invites us to seek after Him. He’s a loving God who welcomes our insecurities and doubts. He encourages us to lean into His plans, even when it’s not easy. And we can trust that He’ll work it all out for our good and His glory.
As we continue in our sermon series called “Same” (exploring the unchanging nature of God), we are focusing this week on God’s eternal promises and His unchanging Word, the Bible. This is such an important subject because it’s impossible to grow in our Christian faith without a healthy relationship with God's Word.
Matthew 22 is a popular passage in the life of the church. Jesus gives the two greatest commandments to His followers to live out, and it just so happens to be the mission of our church! As we navigate through Jesus’ words in the passage, we’ll see that the same purpose that Jesus gave to His followers in the New Testament is the same purpose that we live by here at Shadow Hills Church, which is to Love God and Love people.
