As we continue in our series through our theme “It’s Not About Me,” this week’s focus is the message that we’ve been given to share. Pastor Nathan takes us to Romans 1:14-17 where Paul makes a pivotal statement about the Gospel message. Paul declares his unwavering commitment to proclaiming the message of the gospel and highlights the power of the gospel to bring salvation to everyone who believes. If we have a message that can change lives, then we, like Paul, should be bold in sharing it!

The Blessing of Serving
February 25, 2024 • Pastor Nathan Naoumi • 2 Corinthians 4:5
Serving is an important part of the Christian life. So important that Jesus himself said in Matthew 20 that "The Son Of Man came not to be served but to serve." As we close out our series, "It's Not About Me" Pastor Nathan unpacks The Apostle Peter's call for the church to live as servants and to practice radical hospitality because when we live as servants of Christ, we'll see genuine transformation in others' lives.
How to Remember It’s Not About Me
February 18, 2024 • Pastor Rodney Julian • 2 Corinthians 4:5
Our message is not about ourselves. Pastor Rodney preaches a message on humility—life is meant to be lived for more than self. Loving God and loving people helps take our focus off of self and places it on what really matters—Jesus.
Not About Ourselves
February 11, 2024 • Pastor Nathan Naoumi • Philippians 2:19–30
As we continue in our series, “It’s Not About Me," Pastor Nathan discusses adopting a lifestyle of selfless living. In Philippians 2:19-30, the Apostle Paul praises Timothy for his genuine concern for others, and putting the interests of Christ above his own. Epaphroditus is commended for his selfless service and willingness to risk his life for the sake of the Gospel. These aren’t attributes that are to far for us to grasp. The truth is that if we walk with Jesus we’ll begin to take on His characteristics.
