Today we’re living in a world where division and apathy is on the rise, and unity and compassion are on the decline. Social media, the 24-hour news cycle, desensitization to suffering, and overall busyness are affecting people inside the church and out. Consistently across the pages of scripture, we find a resounding encouragement to embody compassion and love in our lives. To deepen our understanding of what it truly means to be compassionate and loving individuals, especially in a world that is increasingly in need of it, we’ll turn to stories from Jesus’ life and ministry to learn from the master.
