As followers of Christ, we know it to be true that when Jesus speaks He always backs up His word. He stands behind every promise He makes. This is true throughout the Scripture and still today. The Bible also clearly mentions that we are to be like Christ. In the same manner, what we say needs to be backed up. This task may be easier said than done. But nonetheless, in order to become trustworthy to others and to God we must live up to our word.
