North Seattle Prayer Walk

June 30, 2024
12:30 - 2:00pm

This outreach is a prayer walk for the North Seattle area. North Seattle is known for its issues around homelessness, addiction, and Human trafficking. We will have three different locations with varying levels for you to choose from. Below is the information so you can choose wisely, and make sure you only choose one location.

• Green Lake: This is a staple of Seattle. This well-known park has a walking path around the lake. It has some homelessness, but more recently has been cleared out. This is a great location for acoustic worship and prayer walking. Meet at the south end parking lot. Look for the Aurora Prayer Sheild Flag.

• Aurora Avenue North: This is the height of human trafficking in our area. There will be a lot of working women here, and the clothing will be immodest. Additionally, there will most likely be pimps in vehicles close by keeping an eye out on the ladies. We will ask that you just stick to the prayer walking alone. We do not want to incite any kind of altercations with the ladies or the pimps. Route will start at Pilgrim Coffee House proceed to Amazon Fresh and back to Pilgrim. Look for the Aurora Prayer Sheild Flag.

• Greenwood: This is an urban Neighborhood in North Seattle. There are lots of shops, sidewalks, and people. This is a great place for prayer walking as well. Meet in the Fred Meyer parking lot. We will walk the Greenwood corridor between N 73rd Street and N 92nd Street. Look for the Aurora Prayer Sheild Flag.
