It's Palm Sunday, which marks the beginning of the last week of Jesus' life. And in Luke's account, he gives 5 stories that shape our understanding of what happened when Jesus came into Jerusalem on his way to the cross. This was more than an event where the crowds waived palms around. It was a moment of inclusion into the kingdom, judgement for Jerusalem, and ultimately a moment where the lordship of Jesus was on display.

As our series comes to an end, we see a fourth visitation from God: the gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus’ ascension into heaven may have seemed to some like a loss; the Messiah was gone! But when Jesus left He promised that the Holy Spirit would indwell God’s people and fill them with power to be His witnesses. This morning we will see that God has given us power for our mission, and that the harvest is plentiful; we’re surrounded by people who Jesus is going to save.
