There is nothing quite like standing on solid rock. Rocks can feel sure, steady, immovable. I am greatly appreciative of the experiences of finding a good foothold when climbing up cliffs. I am thankful for solid places to plant my feet to rest for a moment while rock climbing. I love how good it feels to reach up and grab hold of an obvious jut that I can trust with my hands. Even more importantly, I often pray that in the midst of life's hardships and difficulties that believers might tangibly feel the Lord Christ as the solid rock beneath their feet. So, go find a rock outcropping, a boulder, or some other rocks to stand on and meditate upon what God has communicated through rocks.
