Our series, Acts of Inclusion dares us to see and embody how from the first days, Jesus-followers were to include all people -- ALL PEOPLE -- in this life of love. On Sunday we celebrate PRIDE Sunday as we welcome the founder and director of BELOVED ARISE, Dr. Jun Love Young. Beloved Arise is a movement to fight for the lives of LGBTQ+ youth, particularly those who have been rejected by their faith communities. The Beloved Arise mission is to celebrate and empower LGBTQ+ youth of faith.

For this Pride Month we are following the Spirit of God as it spreads like wildfire through the early church after the day of Pentecost. Our series called, Acts of Inclusion, dares us to see and embody how from the first days, Jesus-followers were to include all people, ALL PEOPLE, in this life of love. This Sunday, Pastor Sara helps us get curious about what it was in the shared life of community that nurtured and made possible this kind of wild inclusion and love.

The wild and wonder-full Spirit of Jesus keeps pushing us through new thresholds in our lives, thresholds that grow us past our safe and small versions of ourselves, thresholds that grow us into the ever-expanding family of God that cannot bear exclude anyone. This can only mean one thing - THIS SUNDAY IS PENTECOST!!! And for an amazing bonus, we'll be having BAPTISMS. Could this get any better?
