Christians are often known not for what they are for, but for what they are against. We see this in the current election cycle as lines are drawn once again around what each candidate is for and against. And yet: Jesus's message, the gospel, is a message that is decisively for - for love, for justice, for forgiveness, for grace, for change. How did the greatest message of all time get so misconstrued? And what can we do about it?
