August 28, 2024 • Acts 21:13–14, Acts 20:22–24, Acts 22:21–22
In this final message of our summer series, we explore Acts 21-28, where Paul, like Jesus, courageously walks into suffering, fully aware of the cost. Despite knowing the trials awaiting him, Paul remains obedient to God's will and faithful to proclaiming the gospel, even when faced with fierce opposition. This lesson challenges us to embrace a life of courageous obedience, prioritizing God's mission over our comfort, and trusting that His purposes will prevail—even when it requires personal sacrifice.
How good are you at making enemies?
Today, Derek encourages us to share our faith boldly, and be willing to sacrifice our own image for the sake of someone learning about the gospel.
We serve a BIG GOD. So big, that there is no room for ANY other god, idol, moral system, etc.
He is a knowable God, who came down from His throne in heaven to rescue us from our sin.
HE is the Way. HE is everything.
