Jesus: Mighty God

Today Isaiah helps us focus on Jesus, Mighty God arriving in the flesh at Christmas. What irony to think of the one and only “Mighty God” wrapped in peasant rags, born in an animal shelter, laying in a manger. Isaiah tells us 700 years before Jesus’ birth that he would be no ordinary child, not just a teacher, prophet, healer or king … but he would in fact be the MIGHTY GOD of the universe come to humanity in the flesh to save us from sin and death! Today we examine why that is such good news for you.
