Elected President of the USCCB in 2022, Archbishop Broglio previously served as Secretary of the Conference and chaired multiple committees, including International Justice and Peace and Canonical Affairs. He has held diplomatic roles in Ivory Coast, Paraguay, and the Dominican Republic, and was ordained as an Archbishop by St. John Paul II in 2001. In 2007, he became the fourth Archbishop of the Military Services USA. Archbishop Broglio also serves on various boards, including Catholic Distance University and the National Catholic Bioethics Center.
