What do you do when someone does you wrong? Broken relationships are costly and complicated. It costs you peace and complicates your other relationships. But if you choose not to take revenge, you’re inviting God into the relationship to do what only God can do. The good news, that is completely your choice. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19

Jesus calls his followers to a higher standard than the cancel culture. He says that if we have a problem with another person, we should go and have a conversation with them. But why you go, when you go, and how you go will make the difference. If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back. Matthew 18:15

It can happen in any relationship. And the quality of our lives is only as good as the quality of our relationships. Broken relationships rob you of peace in your own life. But, you can have peace about a relationship without having peace in the relationship. Happiness comes from peace with God, peace with yourself, and peace with others. Sometimes you just have to look at the other side. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:18
