The Advent Of Jesus - Series

The Confidence Of Christmas

December 18, 2022 • Justin Grunewald • 1 John 2:12, 1 John 1:1–3, 1 John 2:1–2

In this series, we are asking: why the arrival of a child born in Bethlehem is such a big deal in our world, not just historically, but still a big deal today? In this week’s message, we look at a letter John wrote that speaks to questions that people who are exploring faith ask, and a significant insecurity religious people experience: “Can I be confident that I have eternal life? And am I in right standing with God?”

He Gets Us

December 11, 2022 • Justin Grunewald • Hebrews 4:14–16, Hebrews 2:1–4, Hebrews 9:18

The arrival of Jesus changed the world forever. In this week’s message, we are looking at the Christmas story through the eyes of the first generation of people. When we look at it through their eyes we can see the deep impact of what happened on that first Christmas and how it impacts our lives today.

The Supremacy

December 4, 2022 • Justin Grunewald • Philippians 2:6–11, Colossians 1:15–28

The arrival of Jesus on the first Christmas changed the world so much and people around the world celebrate it through the Advent season. In this series, we look at both the old and new testament through the words of the prophets before Jesus’ arrival, and letters written by the Apostles that show what they saw Jesus do and what they heard Him say. We will discover that everything written in the Bible points to Jesus and how Advent invites us to discover more deeply the wonder of what He has done for us.
