This week we look at another aspect of what allowed Paul to face imprisonment and persecution with strength: his clear conscience. The Bible has a lot to say about the importance of your conscience. Take some time and read through Paul's defenses he presents in Acts 21-26 paying attention to how certain Paul is of his own innocence. Also take a look at Hebrews 9, 1 Timothy 1 and 1 Corinthians 8 for further examination of what the Bible teaches about your conscience. You can also go to http://biblegateway.com and look up the word "conscience" to see where it shows up in scripture.
