Read chapter 1 and consider what tangible steps Joel calls on Israel to take to draw near to God in their moment of suffering. What do you think Joel is trying to get across?

Read Joel 3 and prayerfully consider what Joel is saying to Israel and might be telling you about evil in the world.

This week he talks about the importance of remembering Gods love and goodness in our hardship. Read the text and write down all the reasons we have for knowing He is good and that He loves us.
