Loving others is easy to understand. But it's challenging to apply. Why? When we look at the Ten Commandments, the second half is clearly about loving others. This was how the Jews understood it and how Jesus Himself taught it. The early disciples and the early church practiced it. But why do people today struggle when it comes to loving others? Maybe we are asking the wrong questions.

The family is under attack for quite some time now. Broken marriages, and the resulting broken families, are now quite common. Gender preferences among the youth create conflicts and confusion among parents. Pre-marital sex or casual sex are now accepted as the norm. Traditional family values are considered irrelevant.

What is most important? Is it money? Is it relationships? Is it a successful career? If we don't know the answer to this question, we will miss out on The Good Life that God truly intends for us by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We will lose our way. We will make wrong choices and end up in bad situations or places where we don't really want to be.
Revisiting the Ten Commandments

What are the Ten Commandments? Really? Are they still relevant today? Should we even bother to know them? We are no longer under the “law” but under “grace.” Should we just disregard these commandments completely because we are now living by faith in Jesus Christ? We will discover if we will study it with an open mind, that the Ten Commandments are actually choices that can lead to God’s kind of good life through faith in Jesus Christ.
