After a long and hard search for character in chapters 12-18 came up short, we had to develop a different take on the lessons we could learn. This week we explore how some decisions….or lack thereof….expose the dangerous ways we can compromise our character and leave destruction in our path.

Character is often an invisible force living inside of the most unsuspecting person. It’s a bit shy. It doesn’t enjoy the limelight and doesn’t draw attention to itself. However, occasionally it just can’t remain hidden and it bursts out into the open in a most powerful and inspiring way! In this message, launching our series through 2 Samuel, we explore three stories of people who’s character is nothing short of inspiring. One of them, an Anishinaabe indigenous elder, is particularly poignant given Canada’s current struggles.
