God told me…” Have you ever heard someone say this and wondered how they can be so confident that God actually spoke to them? And how do they know that it wasn’t just a random thought or feeling? In our study of the Holy Spirit today we explore how the Holy Spirit speaks to us and how we can discern when it is him. What we find as we dive deeper into these questions is that it is not whether the Holy Spirit wants to speak to us, but whether we are willing to listen?

What does it mean to Walk in the Spirit? This is a common phrase we hear in scripture and in the church. It almost sounds a bit mystical on its own but we will discover that in scripture this phrase is always juxtaposed within a tension between walking in the spirit and walking in what Paul calls the “flesh”. We will explore what he meant by this and discover together that in the end, the answer is the easy part. Putting this into action is a lifelong wrestling match!
