Q26: Why is communion important? Communion is one of two ordinances or sacraments we practice as a church. Together we explore the origins of communion and attempt to recapture some of the divine mystery together. In sharing the bread and the cup, we discover our common union as followers of Jesus, and the grand invitation God makes to us to join him at his table through the sacrifice of Jesus.
