We love to organize, systematize and structure everything, including what are known as ‘spiritual gifts’! But, what if spiritual gifts aren’t meant to be filed into a nice and neat filing system? What if spiritual gifts were never meant to be discovered on a survey-test and then forgotten? What if spiritual gifts aren’t rigid and only given once? What if we have the whole idea of spiritual gifts wrong? This message dives into Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 12 to explore these challenging questions!

What does it mean to Walk in the Spirit? This is a common phrase we hear in scripture and in the church. It almost sounds a bit mystical on its own but we will discover that in scripture this phrase is always juxtaposed within a tension between walking in the spirit and walking in what Paul calls the “flesh”. We will explore what he meant by this and discover together that in the end, the answer is the easy part. Putting this into action is a lifelong wrestling match!
