Individuals are intended to choose one class to attend for the four week duration. Chip & Hope Buhler: Building Christian Marriage & Families

We are focusing on “Building Christian Marriage & Family Life.” In GOD’s great love & wisdom, HE instituted the first home. Marriage and family life did not originate in the heart and mind of man, but in the heart & mind of God. Join us as we discover God’s design for Christian marriage and learn how to build a Biblical Family life. Our four classes together will focus on: 1.) Generational Faith & Family; 2.) Christian Marriage; 3.) Biblical Parenting; and 4.) Family Devotion and Discipleship. All ages and stages of relationships are welcome; and we will be praying for God’s grace, truth and blessings to be real in our lives & families at the close each session. 

Tom Tanner: Stewardship and Money

Interactive discussions on a Biblical perspective on money and stewardship. Including testimonies from several RiverStone people about God’s faithfulness and how they personally have handled finances in a way that honors God and advances the Kingdom. 

Matt Roskind and Savannah Ugan - Building Houses of Prayer

God has corporately invited RiverStone to become Houses of Prayer, and that’s an honor! However, for many of us prayer sounds great preached from the pulpit or at conferences with eye-popping quotes and exhilarating stories from saints of current and old that have explored and “mastered” the labyrinth of its complex simplicity, but for us it’s intimidating, hard, and confusing! Our class explores biblical foundations for different kinds of prayer, exposure to a variety of ways to pray, and practical tips that we’ve learned ourselves or from others to help those who want to deepen their prayer life with God.

Jane Doss and Allie Doss-Biddle: The Spiritual Economy of the Home

These are hard times to feed families and run a home. This is a 4-fold focus class using price, quality, available time and interest to custom create a plan to simplify your home life no matter the size. We will also discuss good stewardship, spirit of poverty, busyness, healing food fears and cooking disinterest. We will share insights into how a grocery store is set up to make you fail, sour dough bread, basic home chemical knowledge and much more. Each of us is called to steward our homes and where God calls, He provides the tools to get it done.
