What is Christmas Mall? One of the highlights of our year at River City Christian is the Christmas Mall outreach. During the first weekend of December, rooms in our church are transformed into themed stores featuring brand new items that have been donated by church members. Hundreds of people in need in our community are selected by local service organizations to attend the mall and purchase gift items for their family with a provided shopping card. How can I help? Volunteer your time at the Christmas Mall on December 2 and 3. Help us bless 700 individuals in need. We have a large variety of time shifts and volunteer positions available and childcare is provided at most shifts. Sign-ups begin on November 6. Volunteers must be age 14 or older. Children ages 10 to 13 may volunteer in the stores alongside a parent. Contact River City Christian’s office for volunteer opportunities for children under the age of 10.
