In John chapter 17, we see the High Priestly Prayer of Jesus. Throughout John's Gospel, we see Jesus looking ahead to "His hour", which is now upon Him. Jesus came to this moment for God's purpose and His people. As the hour approaches, we see the deep love Jesus has for His disciples and for us.

At the conclusion of John's Gospel in chapter 21, we see that Jesus is our greatest help in every need, forgiving us and freeing us of the guilt of our past failures. He proves once again that He will be faithful forever, having our future securely in His hands.
