Our Story

Ever wondered how we started? How we grew into the ministry we have today? Here's a quick video of who we are and how we got started!

Middle East

For the past two years, our friends in the Middle East have hosted a By the Brook retreat for special-needs moms. Through this event, we have seen women turn to Christ as their hope even as their country is in turmoil. A group of dads in the Middle East has taken the task of following Jesus seriously. Through the Extraordinary Legacy retreat, dads are encouraged to lead their families well and to teach them about Christ. This video is from one of our friends and NEW sister in Christ!

Rising Above Ministries exists to provide special-needs families with support, encouragement, inspiration, and community. Our motivation to do this is based in our belief that God deeply loves all families and wants them to know that love in an authentic and meaningful way.
