Digital Discernment

The 5 Habits of a Tech-Ready Home

November 4, 2025
6:30 - 8:00pm

We’d love to invite your family and friends to join us for an upcoming seminar designed especially for parents, grandparents, and caring adults:

Digital Discernment: The 5 Habits of a Tech-Ready Home

A Seminar by

Protect Young Eyes

Hosted by

Risen King Bible Church

In today’s digital world, it’s impossible to remove all risk — but it is possible to create homes that are confident, prepared, and grounded in wisdom. After presenting to thousands of parents, grandparents, and caregivers across the country, our speakers have identified the five foundational habits that help families thrive in the digital age.

This engaging and practical seminar will unpack what it means to build a “Tech-Ready Home,” answering questions like:

What’s better than any parental control?

Why is your router the most important digital device in your home?

What is the “toxic trio,” and how can families avoid it?

Why are apps like TikTok so compelling to young brains?

Attendees will walk away with tangible tools and insights they can apply right away, including:

• A clear understanding of why layered protection matters and how to build it

• Awareness of tools that support digital goals and family boundaries

• Practical steps to help families stay prepared, balanced, and protected online

Oh, we almost forgot to mention that we will be having a drawing with some amazing DOOR PRIZES!

We’d be so grateful if you would help spread the word to the parents and caregivers in our community. Together, we can encourage families to engage technology with discernment and confidence.
