In this sermon, Brandon discusses whether Christianity has been good for women. He ultimately concludes that Christianity has been a catalyst for positive change and empowerment for women, despite incidences of oppression and abuse in the Church over the last 2,000 years. We explore three specific categories, Creation, Christ and The Church, to support this conclusion and note that Christianity has transformed the cultural landscape and sentiments towards women. Through the teachings and actions of Jesus, Christianity has challenged traditional gender roles and expectations, leading to positive change within the Church and beyond. The Church of Jesus Christ has elevated the status and dignity of women, encouraged their leadership and participation, and championed their education and literacy.
