When God Doesn't Part 2

September 29, 2024 • Minister Raymond Archibeque • Habakkuk 1:5—2:1

The book of Habakkuk provides valuable lessons for navigating times of doubt and confusion. Habakkuk, a minor prophet during the transitional period of the Assyrian and Babylonian empires, questioned why God allowed evil to persist in Judah. God responded by revealing a plan to use the Babylonians as instruments of punishment, which perplexed Habakkuk even more. Despite his confusion, Habakkuk maintained a posture of reverence and faith, recognizing God's eternal nature. This teaches us to trust God's higher ways, take our complaints directly to Him, and wait patiently for His response. By applying these lessons, we can deepen our faith and trust in God's plan.
