This week we dive into a brand new series celebrating Advent called "Arrival"! This week Jared talked about Jesus' arrival as the good king Israel had been waiting for. Here are some questions to reflect on as you listen:

What characteristics do you think of when you think of a Good King? Kindness? Justice?

Why do you think Jesus chose to be baptized even though he didn't need to repent of anything?

When the devil offered Jesus the entire world if Jesus would bow and worship, he was offering the choice between redeeming the world and controlling it. Are there any places in your life where you are tempted to try to control what is not yours to control?
