In the sixth week of our series on the Mission of God, Pastor Bill Kynes of Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church in Annandale, VA joins us as a guest preacher. Cornerstone was involved from the earliest days in Redemption Hill Church’s history, and was our “sending church,” helping to support our church plant. In his sermon, Pastor Kynes expounds on 1 Timothy 3:14-16 as he gives a history of Redemption Hill while giving us a charge for the future as a “gospel outpost” in Washington, D.C.

In the fifth week of our series on the Mission of God, we finally reach the pinnacle of God’s mission in this world as we will look at the incarnation. God took on flesh in the person of Jesus Christ to dwell among His people in His world. In Jesus we see the climax of all the promises of the Old Testament, and the ultimate promise of God’s presence in, among, and through His people. Don’t miss this pivotal week in our series.
