How do we grow our relationship in Christ?

Worship - Fellowship - Discipleship - Serving - Mission

The Great Commandment is about the relationship between:

1. Us and God

2. Us and others

The Great Commission is about loving the world!

What is Worship?

Christian worship is when we acknowledge the presence of God through a liturgy (plan) that calls us to remember God’s acts and where the fruit of being in such presence is a transformed life.

How do we Worship?

1. Luke 24:15 - Jesus approaches his followers (Gathering, Call to Worship)

2. Luke 24:27 - Reveals the Scriptures to them (Word/message)

3. Luke 24:30-32 - Leads them to the Table (Communion)

4. Luke 24:35 - Sends them out to tell the story of God (Benediction, Sending)

How can you be prepared to worship?

1. Come with an open heart.

2. Make an effort to participate.

3. Expect God to be here.

Those who misuse or misunderstand Christ and Christianity 3. Those who have never heard the name of Jesus Those who misuse or misunderstand Christ and Christianity will be the people we will most commonly come across. HOW? (How do we carry out God’s message?) 1. Pray! For God to lead you and give you strength. 2. Spiritual CPR a. Cultivate: being with b. Plant: sharing with c. Reap: them receiving Christ 1 Corinthians 3:6-7 and Romans 1:16 Think About These Things: What if you friend is just one ask away from believing in Jesus? You aren’t the only one that has to share the gospel to your friends. You have the whole church. 2 Questions: 1. What intimidates you the most about sharing the gospel to others who are non-Christian? 2. What small step can you do to share Jesus with them?
